A unique blend of automation and craft practice these procedurally designed vases are always in editions of one. Everyone is unique, yet always part of a cohesive whole. They really do look better in pairs.
Generated en masse by a custom algorithm, whose parameters were tuned by designing dozens of individual vases by hand before being let loose to generate thousands. The forms coming out of the algorithm can be tuned to the mood of the day, ever shifting and often surprising.
The output forms are then thoughtfully curated and printed using custom toolpathing and machine code generation algorithms to be printed on custom-built 3D printers specifically designed to give amazing quality and considered details.
Made from corn based bioplastics with an eye on end of life and some special editions in recycled plastics, capturing waste in beautiful objects that will last.
